MTS Celebrates 100th Anniversary

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Manitoba Teachers Society, and in honour of this special year the MTS Vice-President – James Bedford, and COSL President Myles Blahut embarked on a journey to tour 100 schools across the province of Manitoba. On March 20th of this year, their tour started at Mackenzie Middle School (school #96), and then they visited all Dauphin schools within that school day. Our very own Whitmore School was the magical 100th school. They were rewarded with a celebratory cake and staff t-shirts commemorating the event. This was a great way to celebrate our schools and the fantastic work teachers do everyday across our province!
