MVSD Impact of PMH Level Orange - Restricted

On Thursday, August 20, the Chief Medical Officer of Health declared that Prairie Mountain Health has been elevated to Level Orange – Restricted under the Province’s new Pandemic Response System. Mountain View School Division has been advised that the health orders under the new level are being applied in a focused manner. We have also been advised that that the announcement yesterday of moving into Level Orange – Restricted does not, at this time, apply to schools.

As this may change in the coming days or weeks, we are looking at our existing plan and making preparations to ensure we can meet the requirements for schools if the elevated level of Restricted were applied to K-12 education in our region. More information will be provided as the situation develops.
